Email & SMS notifications

Healee enables the sending of various emails, each one being triggered by a specific event e.g. account creation, appointment booking, password reset, unread messages within the app, etc. Based on the purpose and nature of the template, they can be activated from the practitioner profile or by an admin.

Practitioners manage their notifications for unread messages via their profile in the telehealth portal -> Configure account -> Notification settings.

They can also set their email & SMS preferences at the practice level for appointment events in the scheduling platform. This means that for each individual practice, they might have different notification settings:

  • Email notification for every appointment - new bookings, rescheduling & cancellations.
  • Email notification for every review - reviews published after an appointment.
  • Message notification for every appointment - SMS for a new booking.
  • Message notification for cancellation on the appointment date - SMS for a cancellation on the day of the booking.

Healee offers SMS alerts through a third-party integration with Twilio, but those might not be switched on for each replica.
